LANCASTER COUNTY, 1970 - "The Mascot won't be lighting our way home much longer Sadie This is her last winter... pity." Glancing at the mill and then to his horse, the old Amish man shivered against the cold and remembered a time gone by.

Heavy wagons bursting with grain would pull up to the doors of the mill after every harvest. The owner, Jacob Ressler, would help the farmers heave the sacks up near the huge millstones which seemed never to stop turning. For 217 years the mill had been there. Always turning. Always at work.
