Moonlight is a painting I made after a trip west near the Tetons. The night sky was filled with drifting clouds that opened up for just a moment-revealing such bright moonlight that I never forgot it-and then it was gone. It was a moment of impermanence in the sense that time is impermanent; it is gone before you know it.-Peter Ellenshaw
