I enjoyed meeting the technical demands of this
piece, which included contrasting interior and exterior light. This is my own garden shed and my dogs
Maggie (the yellow Lab) and Molly, who's 95 percent
Yorkshire terrier. The title Evening Companions could
be taken to mean that the dogs befriend my old
neighbor Grady, but it also describes the relationship
between the dogs themselves. Maggie and Molly are
best of pals. - John
