"Make believe" was a part of growing up for all of us and, in a way, is still a part of my adult life. 1 find that creating a work of art is a little like making believe for me. When shops, and 1 am reminded of my own past and imagine what it might have been like in earlier days.
The baby buggy in this painting is from the past; it continues to be cherished by a child making believe. Just as it was by her mother and grandmother before her. -Jim Daly
