The title is purposely provocative and designed to make you ask "What does that mean?" Actually, it's "Blessed is the little fish."
The reason that I did this painting is that, to me, floating fish symbolize the magic all around us, and they are blessed little things to bring this magic into our lives. And the fish bring so much magic into my work; is the angel blessing the fish or the fish blessing the angel in a way,... blessing the print by its presense?
This is just my way of saying "Be thankful for the magic in our lives." I know I am. -James Christensen
